Overview:
The role Senior Application Developer (Oracle) is responsible for all technical aspects of maintaining and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications – Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Projects, Order Management, and Inventory. This includes, but is not limited to analyze, design, development, test, and maintain EBS applications, modules, and interfaces. This role reports to the Business Systems Manager.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Support system design, develop, maintain, and modify components of Procurement (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Projects (PA), Order Management (OM), and Inventory of the E-Business Suite (EBS)
- Develop and implement Oracle EBS R12 interfaces, extensions, modifications, using PL/SQL, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and the overall Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
- Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of EBS projects
- Develop code per the system design and coding standards under minimal supervision and perform unit testing
- Debug, test, and maintain EBS solutions to ensure their optimal performance, reliability, and scalability
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance testing of the Oracle Financial Applications
- Create and maintain artifacts as needed by the project
- Update and communicate with Lead/Manager of all related activities, issues, and risks
- Seeking out and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
- Build and sustain working relationships with all AUS functional areas
- Ensure accurate and efficient governance policy development and adherence
- Report on statuses when requested
- Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance related matters (i.e., assigned mandatory trainings, actions required from audits, corporate policies, etc.)
- Perform all additional duties and responsibilities based on the direction and guidance of supervisor
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in developing Interfaces, Customizations, Conversions, Extensions, Forms 10g, Reports 10g, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher
- Experience in setting up Alerts, performing Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) & Oracle Forms personalization
- Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs
- Oracle R12 technical architecture and Financials modules experience preferred
- Ability to operate with a customer-centric service approach
- Ability to manage and work on multiple concurrent deliverables at various stages of development and completion
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among teams
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and quality of work products and communications

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
- Ensure necessary working environment and capabilities to effectively carry out responsibilities if working from a non-AUS location (remote work)
- Ability and willingness to handle work related issues during all hours of the day, every day of the week, understanding the responsibility of our organization’s requirement for 24/7 production support
- Ability, willingness, and flexibility to travel as needed for approved work purposes in accordance with project and management schedules
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree preferred but not required
- 6 + years Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications development
- 6 + years’ experience working with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and standard Application Programming Interfaces (API)
- Be legally able to work in the United States: U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident
License Requirements/Certifications:
- Valid U.S. drivers license (for rental cars when applicable)

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $115,000 to $135,000, depending on circumstances, including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
